I’m a lecturer in acoustics, audio, and music technology at the University of Edinburgh. I’m based in the Reid School of Music (part of ECA), and a member of the Acoustics and Audio Group.

Collected on this site are various bits and pieces related to my research and teaching.

A number of software utilities for performing acoustics-related measurements in Matlab are also gathered here.

If you’re looking for a technically-minded undergraduate degree that includes physics,┬ámusic, programming, audio technology, and sound design, have a look at the BSc Acoustics and Music Technology (for which I’m the Programme Director). You can apply for the degree via the University of Edinburgh’s Degree Finder page.

If you’re after an MSc in a similar kind of area, we have one of those, too – the MSc Acoustics and Music Technology.
